Preparation Steps

  1. Prepare the Dough: In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, yeast, and salt. Mix until well combined.
  2. Mix the Liquid Ingredients: In a small saucepan, warm the water and almond milk to about 110°F-115°F. Add the melted vegan butter and stir to combine.
  3. Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients: Pour the warm liquid mixture into the flour mixture. Stir until a dough forms.

  9. Bake the Rolls: Brush the tops of the rolls with melted vegan butter and sprinkle with coarse salt. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the rolls are a deep golden brown.

Hi, I’m Jenny, the creator of Plant Based Palate. I started this blog in 2022 when my youngest son was just 4 year’s old. I almost went back to work as a nurse, but instead, I bought a camera off Craigslist and started this blog!

I felt the need to be home with my son, plus I never liked being a nurse, to be honest. And I absolutely LOVE creating vegan recipes. I also discovered how much I enjoy photography and taking pictures of my food.
