Vegan Avocado Toast Bites

These avocado toast bites are one of my go-to appetizers for family gatherings, playdates, or even just a simple lunch. Not only are they simple to make, but they’re also incredibly versatile. Ingredients:

  • 4 slices whole grain bread, toasted
  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Red pepper flakes, for garnish (optional)
  • Fresh basil leaves, for garnish (optional)

  • Knife
  • Mixing bowl
  • Fork

Preparation Steps:

  1. In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe avocado with a fork until smooth.
  2. Add the fresh lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to the mashed avocado. Mix until well combined.
  3. Spread the avocado mixture evenly onto each slice of toasted bread.
  4. Top the avocado toast with halved cherry tomatoes.
  5. Garnish with red pepper flakes and fresh basil leaves, if desired.
  6. Cut each slice of avocado toast into bite-sized pieces and serve immediately.
